Delegate Sales Executive

EMESAP is looking focused and determined sales professional to promote delegate registrations on world leading conferences, training courses and seminars. This role involves the selling of delegate places and to recognize promotional and sales opportunities within the Conferences division. You will work with a new client database and contact the most relevant names/contacts that the marketing department has selected.

Responsibilities:

• Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of  company sales goal and profitability.

• Work with sales manager to ensure agreed KPIs are met on a consistent basis.

• Uphold the mission values and goals of EMESAP.

• The conferences / events require you to approach and “close”  key decision-makers and to ensure they are aware of future conferences, selling the benefits of attending and  securing registrations.

• Contacting incoming enquires from prospective customers and sell the benefits of  attending the event. 

• You will attend briefing sessions with the relevant conference producers to gain a  thorough understanding of the event, key selling points and to be made aware of any  major objections that may be encountered.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and will have proved themselves to be an excellent communicator who can identify a customer’s needs, delivering a high level of customer service whilst maximizing the sales opportunity. 

You should have at least 12 months B2B sales experience, along with the ability to build relationships with Director/MD/CEO level clients, as well as be familiar with the similar short sales cycle in a fast paced sales environment. You must also be experienced in qualifying, pitching, overcoming objections and most importantly closing.
